Fun at The Doctors

Boy, these past weeks have been just a load of doctor visits for my wife and I, more especially me.  I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy all within minutes of each other.  Sure hope they did not get the hoses mixed up.....naw.  The upper was first.

The lower gave me mixed emotions.  I was hoping to finally be able to cut one of my medications in half, but the revelation was not good (will not get into that part here).  The doc promised me he could cut the one medication in half!  But in the end, no pun intended, there were too many polyps inside the old colon so the meds stay at full strength & I GET TO DO THE LOWER AGAIN IN 6 MONTHS!!! OI WEH!!.  CAN'T WAIT.

I was hoping for a better outcome as this one medication causes joint issues as well as arthritis.  Worst of all, it can cause cancer.  It's given to cancer patients and is also used for other things which I know nothing about except, he uses it on me and I don't have cancer.  Do the research.  It's called Imuran.

Our schedule will be back to normal by the time this newsletter gets to your inbox.

P.S. For those of you that have been through this:  I swear your bowels travel into the future and start eliminating food that you have not eaten yet.

P.P.S. We added a story to the Waste of Time Department on the Blog that is quite humorous on this subject.

Photo to View

We took a snapshot of the Town Wall this month right after the 3rd snow that hit the trees up there.  That's right.  There had been snow on the wall 3 times between November 1st and the 15th.

You can view the photo HERE or paste this link into your browser. http://indexwa.org/blog/photo-index-town-climbing-wall/

End Of Tree Life

We were going up the street the other day and could not help but notice the guys with the truck and wood chipper at Dolittle Park.  They were limbing a tree and we saw Bill Cross there too, so of course we have got to ask questions.  (You get so used to BN working on the tracks, and the noise we heard from our home sounded like work being done on the tracks).

Bill stated that the tree was not safe as it had a big fork in it so it had to come down.  He also said, GO GET YOUR CAMERA so we turned around and picked up the camera but by the time we got there the tree had no more limbs.

A few photos are posted on the IndexWa.org Blog if you care to peek.
