IF YOU HAVE NEWS TO REPORT AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT IN OUR NEWSLETTER OR BLOG, EMAIL IT TO US.  WE ACCEPT NEWS THROUGH THE 3RD WEEK OF THE MONTH.  NEWS AS IT HAPPENS AND BLOG NEWS IS ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME.

By the time you read this, presents will have been opened and your Christmas Breakfast eaten.

We never intended for this small newsletter and web site to become what it has become.  We thank you all, our advertisers, readers and visitors for being there for us.  You amaze us daily. Merry Christmas.

Where'd the time go?  It's almost 2010 and it seems that 2009 just flew by us.  We were so unprepared for the New Year as many of you are.  We really did not have the time nor the energy to go out and poke around for news.

PEACE MARCH

Caroll Cochran has a request for those that would like to be involved.

Her birthday wish is "On January 1, 2010, at noon, she is doing a PEACE MARCH within the town of Index.

This is not a protest of sorts.  She just wants our troops HOME.  It's a peaceful demonstration and per Town Ordinance, no screaming, hollering, megaphones etc; and no more than 50 people.  Heck, that's 1/3 of the town around here!

Join her at noon if you are interested.  I'll take a few photos however, I haven't marched since 1969 for the Army.

Photos

We posted a "bunch" of photos on December 20, 2009.  These photos are from the Santa Visit to the Fire Department in Index.

These were FUN photos and everybody involved had a ton of fun.
